Good Monday morning!
We have three things to share.
On Saturday we participated in the MotoCheapie. I guess you can say we "raced", but that wouldn't really relay the correct sentiment. Our little 100cc 2T Suzuki held up for the entire four hours, and we had great fun fixing it as the day went on. Rowan did a great write-up of the day: https://www.onanysunday.co.za/posts/Motocheapie2020/
There is also a short YouTube video made by another team but well worth a watch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dkBSsqDwUIw
Our article was published on Wheels24! Rowan's BMW F800GS review got us a couple of subscribers and we even got an email from one reader debating the perceived weak points on his own bike. We plan to continue this relationship with Wheels24, as getting content published on the biggest motoring website in the country can only be a good thing. ## Next Year
Rowan and I plan to do a full season of racing next year. Whether planning of any sort still means anything remains to be seen, but to that goal we have approached a possible sponsor, which could be a game changer. As I still lay in bed nursing a broken ankle, nothing excites me more than the idea of getting back onto a bike, getting fit and pushing myself to new limits.
I'm still working on my promised Quest report and Honda Africa Twin review.
The last interesting thing to mention is that KTM Paarl is opening tomorrow, directly challenging KTM Cape Town. The new shop is a branch of RAD KTM up in Gauteng, of which I've heard only very good things. As an owner of multiple orange machines, I look forward to visiting the shop as soon as possible.
Have a good week.
